Pepijn Lambermont Biography
Pepijn Lambermont (1969) lives and works in Maastricht and Paris.
He is interested in transformation and, more specifically, in the conditions for surviving systems. His installations depict such processes - from destruction to chaos and reconstruction to order.
Pepijn Lambermont attended the Ecole des Beaux Arts ‘Shivkv’ in Genk, Belgium and the Rietveld Academie as well as the Wood and Furniture College in Amsterdam. He assisted the artist Peter Schuyren with the production of bronze sculptures and learned stone masonry at the Atelier Glacière de la Mairie de Paris led by Syvie Lejeune and he did work placements in Pietra Santa in Italy.
Lambermont has exhibited works in Paris, Vincennes, Montreuil and Cognac, France as well as in Luxembourg, Amsterdam and Maastricht.
